This website celebrates the mid-century modernist legacy of architect Edward Loewenstein who practiced in Greensboro from 1946-1970, bringing to the landscape a wide gamut of residential and commercial commissions. With his modernist buildings, Loewenstein articulated a design vision for Greensboro quite different from a Southern community that valued the tried and true.
